Biography

Martha was born in 1824. She was the daughter of John Pitman Sarah Unknown. She was christened 11th April 1824 at St Philip and St Jacob's, Bristol, Gloucester. She married in 1846. She was living with her husband and children at York Street, Bedminster, Somerset in 1851. She was living with her children at St Mary Redcliff, Gloucestershire and working as a laundress in 1871. She was widowed and living with her children at Dean Crescent (South), Bedminster, Somerset in 1881. She was living with her children at Philip Street, Bedminster, Somerset in 1891. She passed away in 1907.
