Biography
When Nancy Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Pitts was born on October 9, 1872, in Alabama, her father, Newton, was 23, and her mother, Arminda, was 25. She married Emzy Clifton Trayler on December 9, 1894 in Hunt, Texas, USA;[1] he died in 1905. She then married Clayton Orthinal Whortan on May 21, 1910, in Jackson, Oklahoma.[2] She died in August 1953 in Altus, Oklahoma, at the age of 80, and was buried in Eakly, Oklahoma.[3]
