Louis Plouf, son of Olivier Plouffe (1823-) and Marie St-Pierre (abt.1829-1897), was baptised on 6 December 1860 in Sainte-Victoire-de-Sorel (Ste-Victoire-de-Sorel), Québec (Quebec), Canada.[1]

Lewis Pluff (age 19), child of Oliver & Mary D, married Melvina Dumore on 27 May 1882 in Sutton, Massachusetts, United States.[2]

In the 1900 census Lewis Pluff (age 39), Weaver (Woolen Mill), was the married head of household in Charlton, Worcester, Massachusetts.[3]
