Biography
Hester Isabella was born on 22 October 1834 at Seven Fountains, Albany; she was the daughter of Johann Theodorus Pohl and Margaretha Maria Elizabeth (Ferreira) Pohl.
She was 20 years when she married William Adrian Hart, a 22 year old farmer from Queenstown in Glen Lynden, Somerset East, on 27 June 1855.[1]
