Biography

William Kempton Pollock was born on September 30, 1913 in Tropic, Garfield County, Utah, United States. He is the son of William Pollock and Cecy Adelia Bybee.[1][2]

He married Vivian Kunzler on April 20, 1935 in Garfield County, Utah.[3][4]

In July, 1943, William Kempton Pollock was sworn into the U.S. Army and shipped to England and Normandy France for active duty until March, 1946.[5][6][7]

He married Laura Rose Barney on July 24, 1949 in Redmond, Sevier County, Utah.[8][9][10]

He married Claudia Melville.[11]

William worked for the Granite School District until he retired.

William loved to collect hard to find gemstones which he later turned into beautiful and fine jewelry that he would sell in various department stores.

William served an LDS church mission to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

William Kemptom passed away on August 24, 1991 in West Valley City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He is buried in the Fillmore Cemetery in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah[12][13][14]
