Biography

Della was born 11 Apr 1871 in Barnwell, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Stanmore Porter and Emeline Johnson. She first married Leonidas Lomas Walker. They had two children. After he passed in 1909 she married WIldon Stivender. They had at least two children together and he had some children from prior marriages. They remained in Aiken for the remainder of their lives as this is where she passed away on 15 Feb 1951. She is buried at the Edisto Baptist Church Cemetery in Aiken County, South Carolina.
