Biography
Charlie was born in 1924. He was the son of Andrew Posey and Sarah Tedder. He passed away in 1999. Charlie is buried at Roselawn Cemetery, Athens, Limestone County, Alabama. Charlie was a member of the Madison Street Baptist Church. He retired from the Army after 16 1/2 years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. He received the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat during World War ll.
