Phoebe was born about 1813 and baptised in Florden, Norfolk on 27 January 1813 daughter of George and Elizabeth Potter. [1]
In 1851 Phoebe is head of household with her mother Elizabeth, and two sons George (3) and John (2) and a visitor Elijah Cushion, all living in Swainsthorpe.[2]
Elijah Cushing married Phoebe Potter in Swainsthorpe on 8 January 1853.[3] Elijah's father was Robert Cushing and Phoebe's father was George Potter.
