François Poulin was born on August 5, 1789 in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Province de Québec, son of Louis Poulin (1753–1835) and Marie Josephe Roy (1756–1831).[1]
François (31) married Charlotte Fortin (30) (born on July 30, 1790 in Saint-François-de-Beauce, Province de Québec; daughter of Nicolas Fortin and Marguerite Veilleux) on February 5, 1821 in Saint-François-d'Assise, Saint-François-de-Beauce, Bas-Canada. [2]Their daughter was Rose De Lima Poulin (1828–1877).
