Biography

Flag of Cornwall (St Piran's Cross, pre-1838)
Mary (Pound) Philp was born in Cornwall, England.

Widower Cornelius Philp from St Mabyn married spinster Mary Pound at Withiel, Cornwall on 13 January 1793. Witnesses William Pound and Christopher Giles. [1]

She passed away in 1827 and was buried at St Mabyn on 6 October 1827

Mary and her sister Sarah were probably baptized in St Columb Major but no record for Thomas. All the Pound family including their parents William and Mary moved to Withiel and married there. There is no evidence that they were sisters of Thomas. But I will leave these records intact to research further
