Biography

Priscilla (Powell) Stewart is a part of US Black heritage.

Priscilla Ellen Powell was born on January 8, 1855 in South Salem, Buckskin Township, Ross, Ohio, United States, daughter of John Powell (~1830–1887) and Mary Lett (1831– ).^[1]

In 1860, Priscilla (5) was in the household of her father, John. ^[2]

Priscilla (16) married Robert Stewart (26) (born in 1844 in Mecklenburg, Virginia, United States) on September 14, 1871 in Ross County, Ohio.^[3] Their children were:

• Sober Estella Stewart (1873–1880)
• Charles E Stewart (~1874–1903)

In 1910, Priscilla (55) was living with her husband in Clinton, Franklin, Ohio. ^[4]

Priscilla died on December 30, 1923 in Clinton, Franklin, aged 68.^{[5] [6]}
