Biography
When Thomas Porter Powell was born on 18 August 1861, in Kentucky, United States, his father, Ambrose Powell, was 33 and his mother, Esther Creech, was 31. He married Ellen Jane Sheco in 1884. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Kemp Township, Bryan, Oklahoma, United States in 1910 and Kemp, Bryan, Oklahoma, United States for about 10 years. He died on 7 November 1934, in Kemp, Chickasaw Nation Reservation, Indian Territory, United States, at the age of 73.
