Hugh married Lillis Cole in about 1858 and had the following children: 1. Richard Pray [1759-1822], 2. Lillis Pray + sp: Richard Greene, 3. Hugh Pray [1763-1853] + sp: Esther Sanders[1771-1846]. His second wife was Mary Aldrich and their children consisted of: 1. Eunice Pray + sp: Daniel W. Potter, 2. Mary Pray + sp: Hawkins Wade, 3. Abigail Pray [1779-1837] + sp: James Cole, 4. Capt. John Pray [1782-1838] + sp: Lydia Sanders, 5. Oliver Pray + sp: Amey Hopkins [1793-1817], 6. Robey Pray[1785-1882] + sp: Jonathan Pray III [1786-1855], 7. Stephen Pray [1789-1881].
