Addie was born about May 8, 1881 in San Diego County, California. She was the daughter of Elvira Price and according to Addie in 1942, she thought her father was Arthur Price and that her mother's name was Elvira Brown -- but she seems to be proven wrong regarding her mother when birth records of two siblings are viewed.

Addie Price died on August 14, 1959 in Alameda County, California. Her mother's maiden name was given as Harris which was incorrect compared to not only what Addie herself gave in 1942 but what Elvira gave in 1871 and 1883.[5]
Research Notes
No records or sources have been located for any of Addie Price's marriages.
Addie felt she had reason to believe that her father was an Arthur Price and that her mother's maiden name was Elvira Brown -- this contradicts her mother stating that her maiden name was Elvira Price on her 1st child's birth registration and the fact that the location for the father's name to be written had a LINE drawn all the way through it.
In addition to that, Elvira gave birth to an unnamed daughter Price in April 1883 in San Diego, San Diego County and the father's name was listed as Unknown and the race of the baby was said to be mixed with mother being colored.[6]
