Eliza Lavinia Prigg (married name Johnstone) was born in the second quarter of 1845 in Yeovil, Somerset, England,^[1] the daughter of Annie Prigg and Charles Prigg.

She married Easton Johnstone in 1865 in Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
