Biography
Marie Alphonsine Primeau was born on 26 Nov 1847 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Joachim parish in Châteauguay, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Hyacinthe Primeau and Claire Pominville. Godparents at Alphonsine's baptism were Joachim Primeau and Henriette Breault.
