Biography

MaryJane was born about 1843[1]. She was the daughter of Joseph Primmer and Ann Hurst.

She married John Jordan on 11 September 1863 at Union Chapel, Hardy Street, Nelson, New Zealand. Prior to her marriage she lived in Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand.[2]

Her husband died 13 days after their marriage from drowning in the Waimea River.[3]


She passed away about 1925.[4]

Notes

Mary Jane Jordon was born Mary Jane Primmer. She married first to a Jordon and he drowned.then she married Thomas Tasker and after he died she married Mark Hyland. He was nine years younger than she.
