He married Elizabeth Matilda Kerman. His job as shipwright then took him to the Naval Dockyard at Devonport[1].
1901 - they are both at 2 King Street, Devonport, with children Arthur W. and Bessie G.M., also his widowed mother-in-law Elizabeth Kerman[1].
