Biography

Ralph was born in 1888. He was the son of Frank Proctor and Kezia Longden. He married Emily Cooper (1887-1962). They had one known child. They lived in Derbyshire throughout their lives. It is here he passed away in 1967 and is buried at the White Knowle Methodist Chapel.

Ralph served during WWI in the Northumberland Fusiliers. He earned the British War Medal and Victory Medal.

From Find-a-Grave: "Memorial headstone in the burial ground of White Knowle Chapel Chinley Derbyshire to Ralph Joseph (Joe) Proctor born at Buxworth Hall Derbyshire farmed Hill Farm Dolly Lane Buxworth Derbyshire. Following retirement he passed away on 19 April 1967 age 78 years at Buxworth Hall Buxworth Derbyshire."
