Biography

I was told that my grandparents' marriage was arranged by their fathers (possibly before they were born which accounts for the large difference in age). My grandfather originally worked as a layout man when they first lived in Chicago. When they moved to Wisconsin he bought a farm. I was also told that his goal in life was to live long enough to see all of his children married. My father was the youngest and the last to marry. Frank died the year after my parents were married. Frank and Rose came to the United States in 1889 and in 1892 became naturalized citizens.
