Caroline (Pullinger) Doe was born in Ropley, Hampshire, England.

Caroline Pullenger, daughter of James & Mary, was born in 1830 and baptised on 8 August 1830 in Ropley, Hampshire, England.^{[1] [2]}

In the 1841 census Caroline (age 9) was in Dean, Ropley, Alresford, Hampshire, England. ^[3]
Note: the age of Caroline (and her siblings) does not seem correct in this census (based on the dates of their baptisms)

In the 1851 census Caroline (age 20, General serv) was the unmarried servant of John Bridgen in Village, Westmeon, Droxford, Hampshire, England. ^[4]

Caroline (age 29, daughter of James Pullinger) married Henry Doe (age 26, son of Thomas Doe) on 10 December 1859 in Alton, Hampshire, England. ^[5]

In the 1861 census Caroline (age 30, Labourers Wife) was the wife of Henry Doe in High Street, Alton, Hampshire, England. ^[6]

In the 1871 census Caroline (age 40) was the wife of Henry Doe in Godalming, Surrey, England. ^[7]

In the 1881 census Caroline (age 53) was the wife of Henry Doe in Godalming, Surrey, England. ^[8]

In the 1891 census Caroline (age 63) was the wife of Henry Doe in Godalming, Surrey, England. ^[9]

Caroline Doe died in 1901, aged 73, at The Infirmary, Guildford. She was buried on 6 Apr 1901 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section. The burial record describes her as a widow, which is incorrect.

Henry died on 27 Feb 1912, aged 79, at The Infirmary, Union Workhouse, Guildford. He was buried on 2 Mar 1912, in the same grave as Caroline.
