WEDDING REPORT. QUARTERMAINE—WILHELM. A very pretty wedding took place in the Woodanilling Baptist Church on Saturday evening, 21st October, at 7 p.m. The contracting parties are well-known and highly respected young people, the happy man being Mr Roy Wilhelm, son of Mr E. and Mrs Wilhelm, of Marracoonda, and the young lady Miss Gertrude Quartermaine, daughter of the late F. B. and Mrs Quartermame, of Katanning. The Church was tastefully decorated by the ladies under the guidance of Mrs Brackie, of Woodanilling. Mrs Ratcliffe presided at the organ and prompt to the time fixed the bride entered the Church to the strains of "The Voice that Breathed O'er Eden," accompanied by Mr D. Quartermaine, who gave the bride away. Miss Dolly Wilhelm made a most charming bridesmaid to a very beautifully gowned bride. The eager bridegroom was waiting in the correct position, ably supported by Mr S. Fiesh as best man. The ceremony was conducted with due decorum by the Rev. W. J. Wiley, the Baptist Minister of Woodanilling. The young couple took their speedy departure for the home of the bridegroom's parents, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was daintly prepared by Mrs E. Wilhelm, mother of the bridegroom. The usual toasts were given and heartily responded to by the friends, under the chairmanship of the minister. The newly-wedded couple are making Woodanilling their permanent home, and they come with the best wishes of all in the community for their future happiness and prosperity.
