Early Life
She was born on October 8, 1823 and baptized the same day in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Bas-Canada. Her name at birth was Marie Louise Quay dit Dragon. She was the daughter of Louis Quay dit Dragon and Louise Lefevre. Godparents were André Quay and Marguerite Quay. The officiating priest was J. B. Bedard. [1]
Seraphin Chenet, adult son of Seraphin Chenet and Elisabeth Gaudet, and Marie Louise Guay dite Dragon, minor daughter of Louis Guay dit Dragon and Marie Louise Lefêvre, were married 11 Oct 1842 in the parish of Saint-Denis, Canada-Est. [2]
