Charles was born in 1926. He is the son of Norman Quigley and Frances Tomlinson.

Obituary

Charles Rolland Quigley, 90, passed on Jan. 27, 2016. He was born in Joplin, Missouri on May 14, 1925 to Norman and Frances Quigley. The family moved to the Bremerton area in 1939 after living on Whidbey Island for a few years. The move to the Westpark house resulted in meeting his wife of 64 years, Billie Sparber, who lived across the street.

Charles served in World War II and Korea. After his retirement from the Army, he worked at PSNS, retiring at age 55. He and Billie spent many happy years traveling around in their motor home. Charles was a life member of the Bremerton Elks and volunteered many years at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Manan Mae "Billie" Quigley; and sister, Norma Jo Wright. Surviving are daughter, LeAnn (Roger) Keyes; and sister, Dorys Beecher. Charles will be greatly missed, and remembered for his generosity to others.
