Francis was baptized on 07-Oct-1844 at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Cobourg, Northumberland County, Ontario. The registry entry [1] shows his parents as Thomas Quinn and Mary Flannigan.

According to the Canadian County Atlas Digital Project, Francis was a Hotel Proprietor in Bailieboro in 1878. The 1881 census lists him as a hotel keeper living in Peterborough Town. Those locations are over 20 km apart. So, he may have made a move between those years.
