Research Notes

Michael's parents listed on Ancestry Trees, without sources are:
Johann Radies - b about 1778 d Paris
Anna Christina Kelm b about 1778 d 29 June 1855 Paris, Bessarabia

Two films with him listed are:
RADIES Michael 1799 Paris 1766561-1-101
RADIES Michael 1799 Paris 1766619-3-221

Note: There is confusion in the records as if if Andreas was born in 1831 or 1833 and who his mother was.

The 1850 census clearly lists Andreas as the son of Michael with his first wife. That makes the earlier birth year of 1831 correct. [15]
His birth record lists his mother as Marianna Broueske, with him born in 1831.
