Biography

Sadie Elizabeth Rainey was born in 1889 in California, United States. She was the daughter of Robert Rainey and Ariana Lowden.

In the 1900 US census Sadie E Rainey was age 11, living in Scott River Township, Siskiyou, California with her parents Robert Rainey (44), Ariana Rainey (30) and siblings Lida J Rainey (12), Nettie E Rainey (9), Bertha S Rainey (5) and Delia G Rainey (3). Also Jessie Stephens (25), hired man^[1].

Sadie Elizabeth Rainey married Archie Winders in 1908 at Sonoma, California. Archie and Sadie Winders had one known child, Sibyl Elaine Winders (b. 1912).

In the 1910 US census Sadie E Winders was age 20 living in Squaw Valley, Siskiyou, California with her husband Archie Winders (24)^[2].

In the 1920 US census Sadie E Winders was age 30 living in Sacramento, California with her husband Archie Winders (33) and daughter Sibyl Winders (7)^[3].

In the 1930 US census Sadie E Winders was age 40 living in Sacramento, California with her husband Archie Winders (43) and daughter Sibyl Winders (17)^[4].

Sadie E Winders died in 1977 in Sacramento, California^[6]. She was buried at Chico Cemetery, Chico, Butte, California^[7].
