Keziah Randall was born 14 Mar 1743, Preston, Connecticut to parents David Randall and Keziah Davison. [1] She was baptized 30 July 1743 at Griswold, Connecticut in the presence of her father David. [2]
Family's relocation to Nova Scotia
In 1766 the David and Keziah Randall family relocated to Aylesford, Kings, Nova Scotia where David had secured a land grant.[3]
Marriage, Return to Connecticut and Children
Keziah Randall married 1st Daniel Hovey 13 Sep 1763, Falmouth, Nova Scotia and they returned to Connecticut where their children were born [4] ;

Lavina 'Vine' Hovey, b. 8 Jun 1771, Mansfield, Tolland, CT. [5] ; she m. Daniel Williams, 24 Feb 1794, Congregational Church, Westmoreland, Oneida county, N.Y. [5] ; residences: Whitestown, Oneida, N.Y., removed 1799 to Lima, N.Y., removed abt 1814-1815 to Rush, Monroe county, N.Y.

Other Residances, Widowhood and Remarriage
In 1790 Daniel and Keziah Hovey removed from Connecticut to Oneida county, New York. Daniel and Keziah "were charter members of the Baptist Church in Whitestown, Oneida county, when it formed 18 June 1786".
Daniel Hovey died shortly after their latest relocation and on 7 Feb 1798 widow Keziah Hovey marrried 2nd Deacon John Johnson, (abt 1722-5 Jul 1802) who was baptized into the Whitestown Baptist Church on 4 Nov 1797. She was his 2nd wife (his 1st wife being Grace ____ (1720-). [5] They remained in New York state.
Death
The exact death of Keziah (Randall) Johnson aka Hovey is not known but author Williams writes:
... in Vol. 2 of "Early Settlers of N.Y. State, pg.37 is the record of Keziah Johnson on a list of names belonging to Elder Nathan Tanner's Church at Battenkill (now Greenwich) Washington county, N.Y. which was dated prior to 1815. It is known that Josiah Southworth, whose wife was Miriam Hovey a sister of Keziah's husband, Daniel Hovey, had removed from Argyl, Washington county to Mexico, Oswego county, N.Y. and whose lot #119 adjoined that of DAVID WILLIAMS, brother of DANIEL WILLIAMS, who had married Keziah's daughter LOVINA HOVEY.
