Biography

Ida Louise Raymond and her twin sister, Ada, were born on 30 Jun 1864, daughters of Joseph Raymond and Almina Lavanway.[1] In 1880, Ida is listed as a domestic servant in the home of Dr. R. D. Parker and his wife Charinda in St. Joseph township.[2] On 5 Nov 1884, Ida married Jacob George Wiedman.[3]

Ida and Jacob had at three children:[4]

  1. Webster Willis Wiedman, b. 1 Aug 1885; d. 2 Apr 1938;[5] m. 29 Nov 1911, Erma G. DeWitt.[6]
  2. Oliver J. Wiedman, b. 1888; m. 14 Jul 1909, Agnes Davis.[7]
  3. Cassell C. Wiedman, b. 13 Jun 1891; d. 18 Feb 1989;[8]; m. 15 Jun 1921, Malinda L. Piehn.[9]
  4. Kelsey R. Wiedman, b. Jul 1899; d. 4 Sep 1900.[10]

Ida died on 8 Sep 1909 in Benton Harbor, Berrien, MI at the age of 45.[11][12]
