Obituary

Vivian Rosalie Lawson, 91, of Bruceton Mills (Mountain Dale Community), died Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at her home. The daughter of the late Staley G. and Lona Gay Hauger Reckart, she was born May 15, 1913, in Cuzzart, West Virginia.

Rosalie is survived by two sons Tommy Lawson, and wife, Anna Belle, of Kingwood, and Jackson P. Lawson of Cumberland, Maryland; daughter Marion Nieman of Morgantown; two brothers Dallas E. Reckart of Bruceton Mills, and Wayne Reckart of Bruceton Mills; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett P. Lawson, April 23, 2004; infant brother Dana Reckart; granddaughter Christa L. Lawson; and sister, Glendine Savage.

Friends could be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 24, at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills. Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Barry M. Adkins at 1 p.m. Friday, February 25, at the funeral home. Burial followed in the Parnell Cemetery, Cuzzart.^[1]
