Biography
Mary Rees was born in 1705 in Saint Thomas, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. Her father was Walter Rees and her mother, Mary MNU. She married Thomas Woodd on May 12, 1722, in Ferrybridge, England. She and Thomas and their two Children, William and Joseph left England for America around 1732. A daughter Richmunday, was born on the ship and was named after the captain and the day of the week she was born. Mary had three children by the time she was 26. She died in 1780 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 75 years.
