Richard was born in 1886. He was the son of Christopher Reeves and Sophia Brown. He passed away about 1977.

Research Notes

The Death Certificate of Bobbie Jo Reeves, infant daughter of Richard C. Reeves and Sandra Crane Reeves, dated December 4, 1979 to January 14, 1980, makes me call into question that this "Richard C. Reeves" was a brother of Harvey Chester Reeves, and a son of Christopher L. Reeves. His life dates are wrong.

On further examination of the historic record, the 1900 United States Census for Justice Precinct #5, Hardin County, Texas, shows son "Columbus" is at home then. He is 13 years old in 1900; by the 1910 Census, he would have been 23 years old, and he is no longer at home.
