Biography

On 28 Aug. 1683 Mary, daughter of Charles Regon, bricklayer, and wife Joan, was born.^[1]

On 14 Dec. 1705 John Wood of Charles County, Maryland, owning "2960 acres of land" in Stafford County, Virginia, granted Samuel Durham 200 acres, "in consideration that Samuel Durram maried Mary Riging who was my daughter in law [step-daughter]." ^[2]

Brent John Wood At a Court held ye 10th April 1706 This Deed of Gift was acknowledged in said county court by John Wood Senr. in person unto Samuel Durram & is ordered to be recorded & is recorded.
