There were two Henry Reichenbachs, both born circa 1820, both in what was Union County at the time of their births. Today it is Snyder County. One was in Chapman (and possibly Washington) Twp, our Henry was in Perry Twp. There are three ways to seperate them. One is the 1850 Censuses for both townships. Henry C. Reichenbach, who was married to Mary, was in Chapman Twp. Our Henry was married to Rebecca Martin and was in Perry Twp. The second way is; Henry and Rebecca had daughters named Pheobe, Rebecca, Sarah, Lydia, Mary, and Caroline; and one son named Daniel.

The third is, Henry and Rebecca Martin Reichenbach are buried at St Johns, Mt Pleasant Mills. Henry C. and Mary are buried at St. Johns Port Trevorton.

According to the 1840 Census, Henry was employed by the Pennsylvania Canal System, in Navigation of Canals, Lakes, Rivers; most likely on the Susquehanna Division, from The mouth of the Juniata River near Duncannon, PA and Northumberland, PA. In the 1870 Census, Henry is losted as a Blacksmith.
