Biography

Augustus, born in 1891, was the son of Joseph Reid and Carrie Trotter.^[1][2]

During World War I, he signed up for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in 1917. At that time, he worked as a teamster. He served as a private with the 10th Battalion, No. 1 CASC Training Depot, and died of pneumonia in England in 1918.^[3]
