Christianus Reiffenberger was born in 1650 in Flammersbach, Haiger, Lahn-Dill-Kreis, Hessen, Germany, son of Johannes Reiffenberg (~1625–~1656).

Christianus (21) married Anna Catharina Cuntz (19) (born in 1652 in Amdorf, Lahn-Dill-Kreis, Deutschland) on 6 Oct 1672 in Herborn, Birkenfeld, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Their known son was Johann George Reiffenberger (~1675–~1750).

Christianus passed away in Germany.

Jones (1985) proposes of Johann Georg that “perhaps he was the s/o Christianus Reiffenberger, s/o the late Johannes Reiffenberger from Flammersbach in the Ampt Haiger, who md. Catharina, d/o Johannes Cuntz from Amsdorf, 6 Oct 1672 at 6348 Herborn” (p. 763).

Hello John - I seem to be caught up in the mess that is alternate spellings of German surnames again with these Reiffenberg/Reiffenbergers... have you seen any evidence that these are two different surnames, or are they really all Reiffenbergs?

Reiffenberger-26 and Reiffenberger-23 appear to represent the same person because: Look like same guy to me

Edit: and not a brother to another man with exactly the same name, married to the same woman
