Biography

Joe Reineger has German Roots.
Joseph H Reiniger was the son of Charles Frederick Reiniger and Barbara Suiter.

Joseph went deaf at 15 months due to brain fever. At age 12 (1858) he started attending a school for the deaf in Ohio, which he did for 7 years. His occupation was a painter in adulthood.

His first spouse, Mary Jane, was deaf from birth. She was admitted to the school in Ohio at age 7 (1879) and attended for 10 years.[1]
