Biography
James Renick is a part of US Black heritage.
Son of Constance Carmichael and James Renick.
He married:
- Beverly E. Ish Weems, 1971.
- Peggy Gadsen or Gadsden.
He had one daughter, Karinda.
James chose his own middle name, Carmichael, after his grandmother passed away in 1977.
James Renick was notable for being the chancellor for North Carolina A&T State University and University of Michigan-Dearborn.
He passed away of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in January of 2021.
