Andrew was born 4 Feb 1860.[1] He was one of 13 children. He passed away about 1933.
In 1881 Andrew was 21 and a blacksmith living in Blinkbonny with his parents Archibald Renton 57 Blacksmith born in Inveresk, his mother Mary 54 born in Temple, William Renton 16 Blacksmith (Apprentice), George Renton 14 (Lawyer apprentice), Archibald Renton 12 Scholar.
Andrew was a retired blacksmith at the time of his death in 1933. The cause of death is noted as (I think!) Acute prostatitis. His death was registered by James McQueen ? his brother in law.
At the time of his marriage in 1884 to Eliza Crichton (Ladies maid) he was master blacksmith with his usual residence noted as being Ballencrief, Aberlady.[2][3]
Andrew died on 10 June 1933 and was buried in Saint Andrews, Fife, Scotland.[4]
