Renwick-657 and Renwick-55 appear to represent the same person because: Pretty sure these are the same person. A George Renwick immigrated with Robert and Rebecca in 1852, that mostly matches the family story. The Mahalice name might be mixed up from the Poulter side. Robert's current death location is Kaikoura but I think the date is wrong as there is no newspaper or death record. Rebecca might be the Rebecca Renwick marrying Nicholas Adams in 1874, possibly dying in 1888 which would fit with Robert having passed away by the time George married.
