Charles was born in 1892. He was the son of George Ressler and Sarah Shisler. He passed away in 1951. Charles served in WWI with the AEF in Company C of the 338th Infantry and Company D of the 47th Infantry. He enlisted May 29, 1918, was slightly wounded in battle on September 28, 1918 and discharged on April 15, 1919.
