Biography

Berth Anna Logblad, 99, passed away at Heritage Manor, Rice Lake. Born at Monroe, Wi., to Fred and Anna (Aecschimann) Rettenmund, where she lived to age 13. With her parents moved to Rice Lake where she finished her education. Married John Lofblad at age 18 and moved to Park Falls, moving to Barronett in 1927 and to Rice Lake in 1947. She enjoyed music and loved to play her accordian. She enjoyed people and had a great sence of humor. Survived by 3 daughters, Louise Smith of Rice Lake, Edna Johnson of St. Paul, Luella Avery of Cumberland; one son, John of Rice Lake; 16 gr-children and several gr-grchildren. Preceded in death by husband John, 4 daughters and 1 son.One daughter being, Norma G. (Lofbald) Hom (1922-1999) buried at the Chicog Cemetery, rural Minong.
