Biography

William M RETTIE was born in Manhattan, New York, New York, USA on 19 Aug 1921. ^[1][2] He was the son of Alexander RETTIE and Margaret GRANT.^[1]

In 1930, he was an "inmate" (together with his two brothers) at the Masonic Home in Utica, Oneida, New York, USA.^[3]

In 1940, he was an "inmate" at the Masonic Home in Utica, Oneida, New York, USA.^[4]

In 1970, he worked as Director of Employee Relations at Ray-O-Vac in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.^[5][6] He was 48 years old at that time.

On 30 Oct 2011, he died at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Centre in Canandaigua, Ontario, New York, USA when he was 90 years old.^[1]

On 9 Apr 2012, he was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, USA.^[2]
