Biography
William was born in 1781 in Virginia. He is the son of Obediah Reynolds. William passed away in February 1852 in Barren County, Kentucky. He may be buried in Camp Ground Cemetery, Barren County. Other family members are buried in this cemetery, but a marker has not been located for William.
William married Martha Reynolds, daughter of Matthias Reynolds and Martha Goodman, on 22 May 1817 in Barren County, Kentucky. An entry in the marriage records on 17 May 1817 appears to be posting of the marriage bond, father of the bride is listed as Matthias Reynolds. The marriage followed on 22 May 1817. [1][2] They had children: Wellington, Eliza, Evaline, and Greenberry Reynolds.
William married second Mary Ann Johns on 7 November 1833 in Barren County, Kentucky.[3]
