Biography

Vernon married first on 11 Dec 1930 in Paonia, Colorado to Grace M. Vandivier; [1] who died in 1941.

Vernon enlisted in the Army on 24 Jun 1942 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 42 for the duration of WW II. [2] The details of his service are unknown.

Vernon married second to Ivy C. Austen, died in 1961, and is buried in Orchard Mesa Cemetery, Grand Junction, Colorado. [3]

It is not known if Vernon had any children.
