Biography
Pearl Rhodes was born in Red House, West Virginia on 6 December 1893 to Albert Maywood Rhodes and Alice Florence McNealy. She married Ed Arion on 2 June 1912 in Lubbock County, Texas.[1] Her husband died in 1929, leaving her a young widow. As of the 1930 census, she was 36 years old and working as a laundress at home.[2] As of the 1940 census, she was teaching weaving.[3] Pearl died on 1 May 1964 in Sacramento County, California.[4] She is buried at the City of Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock, Texas.[5]
