Biography
Denis Richard is a descendant of an Acadian
Denis Leandre Richard was the son of Dominique Leonidas Richard and Caroline Amirault.[1]
He was born March 30, 1911 in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia[2], and was baptised April 2, 1911 at St. Michael's in Wedgeport.[1]
He was a fisherman by trade.[3]
He marriedMadeleine Claudia LeBlanc, the daughter of Leon Pius LeBlanc and Marguerite LeBlanc, on November 18, 1940[3] at St. Michael's.[1]
Denis Leandre died February 9, 1986[4] , and his funeral was held February 12, 1986 at St. Michael's.[1]
