Biography

Sarah was born in 1733. She is the daughter of Daniel Richardson and Sarah (Pottle) Richardson.[1] She was born deaf.[1] After her father moved to Methuen, whatever arrangements made for her shelter and/or employment must have broken down, because she was warned out of Newburyport in 1764.[1] In 1807 in Methuen, she was declared not sound of mind, and the town appointed a guardian.[1] She died in 1808.[1]
