Biography

Margaret Jane Riley was the second daughter born to Archbishop Charles Owen Lever Riley and Elizabeth Merriman. She was born on 11 March 1890 in Preston, Lancashire, England.

She married The Very Reverend Robert Henry Moore in 1921. They had three known children, including Pauline Betty (Moore) Franklyn (1922-1972).

She died on 26 Jul 1968.

Research Notes

The Find-A-Grave memorial for Margaret Jane Riley Moore lists an incorrect death date of 19 Feb 1937. It appears there are two different Margaret Moores buried in Palmyra Cemetery; the one who died in 1937 was 61 years old and the daughter of Robert Lennon and Elizabeth Marshall (her husband, George William Moore, is buried nearby). WA death index shows Margaret Jane Riley Moore, daughter of Charles O. L. Moore and Elizabeth Merriman, died in 1968.
