Mary Berthe Rivet, daughter of Joseph Omer Rivet and Mary Anna Fischer, was born on 24 January 1882 in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States. She was baptized on 19 February 1882 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, Iberville Parish. Her godparents were Augustin Rivet and Mary P. Rivet.[1]
